Dads’ Alcohols Habits May Affect Fertility Too

TUESDAY, Feb. 28, 2023 (HealthDay News) — Just as women who drink alcohol may have trouble getting pregnant, new research suggests that dads-to-be may have the same issue. The study found that men who drank alcohol excessively — more than 14 drinks per week — had lower levels of a hormone that is essential for sperm production. These findings suggest that excessive alcohol consumption may impair fertility in men, just as it does in women. .
